Saturday June 5th The Block Shop & The City of Lancaster is presenting another police escorted community ride.
We are calling it The LanCoaster BLVD Bike Experience and they will take place on the first Saturday of every month (weather permitting).
The ride will start and finish on Lancaster BLVD (from City Hall on 44933 Fern Ave).
The ride will roll promptly at 10am and we recommend everyone show up an hour early and experience Lancaster BLVD before and after the ride!
The BLVD Transformation Project is in full swing and is improving dramatically by the day.
There are numerous restaurants and cafes to dine and hang out before and after the ride.
Our GoldSprints event went over extremely well at BeX and we hope to hold more events there in the near future.
The LanCoaster BLVD Bike Experience promises to be a fun ride! We will start on Lancaster BLVD and tour around Lancaster with police motor escorts.
The ride will last between an hour and a half to two hours and cover approximately 20 miles.
The LanCoaster BLVD Bike Experience is a very social bike ride and not a race. It is designed to be fun and enjoyable while riding in the safety of your community.
What we need from you is participation. It is amazing to have so much support from our Mayor (R. Rex Parris) and Lancaster City Council.
We have the opportunity to create cycling awareness to our entire community with hopes of attracting others to share our experiences.
The larger the cycling community the more ability we have to expand.
Come out and share the experience with a few hundred of our cycling friends!
